 Finnegans room
When we started to get an idea of how we were going to decorate. We didn’t want to go with a hard core theme. And definitely didn’t want a “baby” room. We just wanted cool things and a room that could grow with him. Of course I love all things woodland and rustic so there’s a lot of that feel in there. And it was important that it was functional for an infant. Of course we want it to be “cool” but it most importantly needed to help us easily navigate those new months. And now it’s been very easy transitioning it to a fully functioning, into everything, baby room.

Todd made his coat rack from a peice of pallet board and we found tree limbs and cut them down to fit as “hooks”

Sweet little signs next to his crib

 Book shelf made from pallets.

This gooseneck rocking chair was Todds
GREAT GREAT grandmothers. We had it  reupholstered.  That’s a lot of babies that have been rocked to sleep in this very chair.

Todd made this American flag from a pallet. (We get a lot done with pallets)

Old drawer from a hutch that we use for his changing table nessesities. We are firm believers in young living essential oils in this household. I’ve been using them on Finn since he was born.

We have had so much fun creating his little space. And we are constantly adding and changing things too. I’ll link items below.

If you’re interested in something I didn’t link leave a comment and I’ll point you in the right direction.
